Graduaded of a Music Master from Hochschule Für Musik und Darstellende Kunst de Stuttgart (Germany) in the class of Christian Schmitt, Federico Curti started his musical studies in the Music Elementary School Virgilio Scarabelli Alberti in Montevideo (Uruguay).
He discovers the oboe with Elvira Casanova in the « Sistema de Orquestas Infantiles y Juvéniles del Uruguay ». Then, he joins the Music University, in the class of Elvira Casanova while taking classes in Buenos Aires (Argentina) with Néstor Garrotte.
In 2008, Federico is admitted in the oboe class of Jaime Martínez in Venezuela. The next year, he joins the class of Vincent Tizon in the Regional Conservatory of Nice (France), where he passes his Musical Studies Diploma. He then completes his schooling and perfects himself with Daniel Arrignon in the Regional Conservatory of Rueil Malmaison (France) and gets the First Prize for specialization with high honors.
He is invited to play in the Regional Orchester of Cannes (France), in the Philarmonic Orchester of Nice (France), in the European Youth Orchester, in the Orchester of the Regional Conservatory of Grand Nancy (France), in the Liestal Orchester (Switzerland), in the Bâle Festival Orchester (Switzerland), in the Provincial Philarmonic Orchester of Santa Fe (Argentina), and in the Philarmonic Orchester of Santiago (Chile).
He dedicates a great amount of his work to diffusing the latino music and the Uruguayan musical creation with chamber music concerts and international festivals.
He played as a Soloist for the SODRE Orchester and the Philarmonic Orchester of Montevideo (Uruguay), the Provincial Philarmonic Orchester of Santa Fe (Argentina), La Serena Symphonic Orchester (Chile), Asunción Symphonic Orchester (Paraguay) to perform the classical concertos of the repertoire.
