Delphine

The Delphine is an instrument for beginners highly regarded by conservatories and music schools worldwide. It’s register goes down to low Bb. It has left F key, F fork resonance, and C-D trill. Its egonomic design was conceived for small hands. It’s made of granadilla wood, with the option of having the upper joint made of delrin, a synthetic material.

What fans of the Delphine Oboe have to say about it

Mathilde Lebert

Principal Oboe at the Orchestre National de France

The Delphine is the model that comes before the Riec in the Rigoutat range of instruments. This student instrument is particularly well suited to children with small hands as they often struggle to block the E plate properly – here, it’s covered.

Philibert Perrine

Hautbois Co-Soliste à l'Orchestre de l'Opéra de Paris et professeur au CRR de Rueil Malmaison

It’s an instrument that is perfect for beginners, it’s easy to play and light.
